This mini backpack from Kandou Patterns comes in two sizes adult and child. The shoulder straps are cotton around fleece making them soft and strong. At 2″ (5cm) wide they don’t dig into your shoulders either. The back panel has a zip pocket which is against your body when the bag is in place making it fairly secure. The front has an optional flap pocket. The bag pictured has this pocket omitted so the fabric pattern is not obscured. Inside the bag there is a zip pocket and a slip fabric which can be made as solid fabric or using mesh.
This bag feels huge for something so small, and makes a great alternative to a handbag.

Every item I make is made from top quality products and with the utmost care. I use high-quality fabrics and interfacing, which cost more but I think it is important when you order a custom item, that it looks and feels special, and stays with you through so very many uses. Most shop bought bags are mass produced and this makes them cheaper to buy. They are also often made from low quality fabrics that do not last. Handmade bags like mine, are like couture clothes, each one is unique in some way, and either made to order or in limited edition.
